As part of our ongoing Certificate in Individual Support and Care program, we had the privilege of hosting Mr. Yonten, a key member of the management team at the Disabled People's Organization of Bhutan (DPO Bhutan). His presence and powerful insights brought incredible value to our participants, highlighting the real-life challenges and aspirations of persons with disabilities.

Mr. Yonten’s talk reminded us of the importance of lived experiences and the critical need for inclusive dialogue in care and support services. His visit to ITPL beautifully reinforced the powerful slogan:

"Nothing About Us Without Us."
