ITPL Launches in Thimphu

On April 2, 2025, the Institute of Technology and Professional Learning officially launched its operations in a small opening ceremony at the new Kuensel Building, Changzamtog, in Thimphu. The event was graced by the presence of guests, including the Chief Representative of JICA, representatives from government agencies, private sector and civil society organisations.The event marked a series of significant milestones, including the inauguration of the institute’s official website and promotional course flyers. Additionally, a promotional video showcasing the institute’s vision, programs, and goals was released across various media platforms to reach a broader audience.
During the opening ceremony, the institute’s Director delivered a key message emphasizing the importance of collaboration for the success of the institute. He highlighted that cooperation across different sector would drive innovation and contribute significantly to the country’s long-term goal of skill development. This vision of collaboration was warmly received by the guests, underscoring the institute’s commitment to creating a unified approach towards professional learning in the country.
