Wangchuk Loday
Bio
Wangchuk Loday has extensive experience in social work, development studies, public administration, and migration law. He holds a Master of Social Work from the University of Western Australia, a Master of Development Studies from Murdoch University, a Postgraduate Diploma in Management from the Maastricht School of Management, and a Graduate Diploma in Australian Migration Law and Practice from Australian Catholic University. With a career spanning over two decades, Wangchuk has worked in diverse roles across Bhutan and Australia, including senior policy and planning positions in the Royal Government of Bhutan, case management in migrant and refugee settlement services, and housing support services in Australia. His expertise lies in policy formulation, community engagement, migration law, and capacity building, with a strong commitment to social welfare and education. As a founding member of ITPL, Wangchuk brings his vast experience in governance, training, and program development to drive the institute’s mission of providing world-class technical and professional education in Bhutan.
